Every couple of days I checkout WhatToMine to what's currently most profitable, like many others I turn those profits into other coins. With the price increase of ETH that's where I've been for the past week or so. But when checking WhatToMine last night it showed Komodo (KMD) as the most profitable, by a good $5 per day (total of 14~ coins). I decided to test it out and see what kind of results I get over night.
My setup is 11 GTX 1060s and 1 1070. In about 10~ hours I mined 18+ coins (current rate that's $32+ over night). When checking WhatToMine this morning, KMD is now 11th on the list and about $8 below ETH at 7~ coins per day.
Is or has anyone else dabbled in KMD? What would make the est.

Using a new consensus mechanism developed by the Komodo team, delayed Proof of Work, Komodo blocks can be notarized using the Bitcoin blockchain. KMD is issued through an Equihash-based PoW protocol, and new block information is inserted on the BTC blockchain by the DPoW notary nodes by creating a custom transaction. This system ensures that in order to 'hack' komodo, one would have to rewrite both chains. Since Komodo uses the Equihash algorithm, it can be mined with CPUs and GPUs. Today, we're going to teach you how to mine with both.
This guide is for Windows and works with GPU and CPU (and both). Alternatively, you can also mine other PoW coins through a cloud mining contract with.
