Mining SmartCash SMART Plus
How to get SmartCash? Here are a few resources including exchanges Smartcash is listed on, official Wallet downloads and other useful links.
We have launched a 0% Fee Mining Pool at pool.smartcash.cc! What is SmartCash? SmartCash is a community governance, cooperation & growth focused blockchain based currency & economy.
In a traditional crypto currencies such as Bitcoin, the block reward was intended for the miners. But with SmartCash we have turned this upside down, and will be using 70% of the block reward to fund not only the community projects, but also the growth & development of SmartCash. With SmartCash we have placed a huge focus on the community. We highly encourage anyone with the skills to help grow SmartCash to get involved in the community and bring your best creative ideas with you.

Welcome to the guide on how to mine SmartCash. In this guide you will learn: • Quick way to create a wallet to receive mining rewards, • How to download and a mining program and update drivers for your Nvidia graphics card, • How to configure the miner to join a pool to work with others to secure new blocks and get rewards, • How to configure your graphics card for more efficient mining using MSI Afterburner (fast hashrate, use less energy, and generate less heat), • and how to pick your video cards for cost efficient and effective mining by looking at a spreadsheet. CREATE YOUR WALLET ADDRESS TO RECEIVE MINING REWARDS You need to have a SmartCash address to receive your Smart earned through mining. Do NOT use an exchange address.
The simplest way is to create a new web wallet by going to. Use a strong password and enable two-factor authentication for better security. Click on the overview tab to see your addresses, I renamed the second SmartRewards address to 'Mining' by clicking on the red edit name button to the right of the address.
This is the address I will use that for this guide. The address in this example is: SSDYs9iS8uxN98H5TGY1tnAyy5n3vasXqr. We will use that in the miner configuration.
Use your own address when you set this up, otherwise I will get the rewards you generate (thanks!). Advanced users will want to create a paper wallet and use cold storage. You can also use any of the software wallets to create an address but be sure to encrypt the wallet, save a backup, and keep it safe in more than one place and remember the password. Here is a screenshot of the web wallet overview: STEP 2. DOWNLOAD YOUR MINER PROGRAM AND UPDATE YOUR GRAPHICS DRIVERS. For this example we will use Windows 10 and an Nvidia miner by Tpruvot forked from ccminer. The version I suggest you use is Tpruvot v2.2.3 x86 version available from here:.
You will need to download the file called and extract the folder using the 7zip software (after installing 7-zip right click on the.7z file to extract files to their own folder). Bytecoin BCN Miner Hardware. If you have an earlier Nvidia card that only supports cuda8 you can use this. Also please note that you should update your Nvidia graphics card drivers to the latest version.
CONFIGURE A.BAT FILE TO START CCMINER AND CONNECT TO A POOL. In this example we will connect to the that has zero fees, does automatic payouts, and does not require registration so it is quick to setup. To create a batch file to load the miner with the correct settings you can either to your miner folder and rename to mine-smartcash.bat (from.txt) or you can create in notepad the file and save it as mine-smartcash.bat. If you create it yourself put in the following two lines (substitute your address with the one in this example): ccminer.exe -a keccak -o stratum+tcp://mrmetech.me:3256 -u SSDYs9iS8uxN98H5TGY1tnAyy5n3vasXqr -p x -i 24 --cpu-priority 3 pause That's all it takes!
This is doing a GPU intensity of 24 and will pause in case there is any error message. The pool is configured to automatically pay out rewards directly to your address. You can expect rewards every hour or so depending on how often the pool finds a hash for a particular block (each block is 55 seconds on average). The more people who join the pool the more often they find a block, but the rewards will be slightly less as more people are mining. Double click on your mine-smartcash.bat file and it will start up the miner and connect to the pool. It should look something like this. The green 'yay!!' Means a valid share was sent to the pool and you will get a portion of the next block reward found.
4) OPTIMIZE YOUR GRAPHICS CARD SETTINGS To make sure your graphics cards are running efficiently you should download and install MSI Afterburner. You can then configure your graphics cards to run at less power (good because it's less heat and less cost), increase the core clock speed and memory speed (so they hash faster), and also to control the fan to keep them cooler.
To find good settings you can experiment a little and use the next section as a bit of a guide. 5) PICK A GOOD GRAPHICS CARD FOR MINING To pick your video cards you would want either a 1080 TI or a 1070 TI. You can view different video cards and their performance in the spreadsheet here. You can see how many power supply pins it takes, the expected wattage, the performance per watt (MH/W), the overall hashrate (MH/S), and some settings used by different miners as well as MSI Afterburner to get those results. You can choose to try and be very efficient or you can try and get as much hashrate as possible. Generally you should aim to have your cards at less than 70 degrees Celsius.
Lower is better and you can improve that with cooling or lowering the power consumption (TDP). Don't forget that it is the entire power consumption at the wall that matters so you want a Gold rated or better power supply. You can use a wattmeter to measure it. Here are some example cards and their performances: You are welcome to add additional rows to the this wiki spreadsheet at the following link: THANKS!
ONE LAST SECURITY TIP: Finally, it is generally a good idea to use a VPN while connecting to the internet even with mining. This helps protect the information travelling between your miner and the pool and is generally a good security practice. You can learn more about that at or if you just want a basic one to get started you can use. Hopefully this was a helpful overview of how to get mining.
You can try and use different programs, different pools, or set up more cards and 'rigs' if you really want to get into it. If you enjoyed this article please view more of them at the at the. Reposted from the original source at the.
