I kept the miners running because the Pi was also acting as a PIR triggered security camera but now that's it dead I can see no reason to go back. Using a Pi or a stack of Pies as a CPU miner is a worse idea unless, as stated by another person in this thread, you just want to learn how mining works which, in that case, go for it. If you have a Pi you will find other uses for the device so I encourage you to get one, mining or not.
